In the name of Allah, the merciful,
I pray for your guidance
I pray for your wisdom
In calming my soul.

For while I am steadfast
Knowing your great works
And honouring your name
I am weakened by the pain
That troubles my mind.

Grant me your grace oh Lord.
Grant me your peace
So that I may rise above this pain and illness
That I may understand that
All good people are tested.

I ask this most humbly in your name.
