O you who believe! Let it be said: Al-Sabah;
The Good; The Right;
And the thirty-ninth name of Allah, the Infinite, the Unique, the All Knowing.
To do what is right, even in private if no one is watching;
To perform in a manner pleasing with the laws of Allah;
To be considerate to others and respectful of others,
Even if they show no respect for themselves;
Thus Allah does not judge us or act against us due to our transgressions,
But is forgiving and looks to the best within each of us.
Good exists in the moment of choice and action.
Truly, the notion of an absolute good or evil is a figment of the Persian mind.
The Persians seek control through awe and fear.
Thus they speak in terms of absolutes.
An educated mind knows the key to life and harmony with the will of Allah is balance.
Thus the greatest goodness is to respect life and to live one’s life to the fullest,
As if only one more day has been granted.
