| 1 | O People! There is no other deity but Allah! |
| 2 | The Compassionate, the Beneficent, the Gracious; |
| 3 | All glory and honor be to Allah and no other! |
| 4 | Let the truth be now revealed concerning the Sabians; |
| 5 | The ones who believe in nothing but themselves; |
| 6 | But claim to be devout and pious followers of all faiths. |
| 7 | They be not the first inhabitants of the land, |
| 8 | But pirates and robbers, who wrap themselves in their gains, |
| 9 | Who pretend in all manner of ways to be the custodians, |
| 10 | Of a desert of which they know nothing. |
| 11 | Do not be deceived by the Sabians. |
| 12 | They cannot speak truth, nor do they know it. |
| 13 | They would sell even their son as a slave, |
| 14 | If it meant avoiding the hardship of work. |
| 15 | Verily, before the family of Islam is truly united, |
| 16 | The lands must be rid of the Sabians who plague it. |
