Chapter 12

Before we became your gods
And the hand of your creation
we ourselves were created
upon even less virtue than your creation
During the end of the Third AGE of GAL.
You who crave immortality of flesh
Know nothing of the cost
Nor what is lost
So it was a race of immortals
Slaves to their technology
A race who had so completely removed life from their immortal existence
They had become as if already dead
Without external genitals and reproductive organs
Without digestive systems
A race of immortal clones who were our creators
You call them Greys
A race who had conquered death only to lose all that is precious of life
cursed to wander the galaxy in search for their own redemption.
In their quest to regain what they lost
To retrieve even the remotest of feeling
They sought out young worlds
Feeding off the life forces of hormone secretions
Rubbing it into their dead skin
Seeking to re-engineer their physical form
To repair the damage they wrought unto themselves
Such arrogance these Greys hold
To any form of effort
That they would rather clone an army of new beings
Than work
So they created us
An army of a million warriors
A force of terror
That they may conquer worlds
That they may continue to exist as gods
Much taller they did make us, almost three times their size
Great powerful limbs, with reptilian scales and skin as natural armour
We were their sword
And for a time, they repaid us by allowing us some time to dwell in conquered worlds
Before being returned to our ships to the next world
Race after race after race we conquered
Drinking the blood and eating the flesh of our victims
No force more feared, no act too terrible
Until our lords chose to retire us
Our purpose no longer needed
To keep us held as prisoners in our ships
An eternity in hell
