7 Gratitude

1	The Mice of a field believed themselves so persecuted,
2	That at the approach of any large Beast they did run away in fear and hide.
3	One day, upon the arrival of some horses, the Mice were so distressed,
4	They ran off to the edge of nearby lake to end their lives by drowning.
5	But upon reaching the lake,
6	The Mice witnessed Moth after Moth falling from the sky onto the lake,
7	Only to be eaten by fish and bird alike.
8	The Mice then said to one another: Truly, our lives are not so bad as it seems.
