| 1 | Men and Women are not the first Spirit People; |
| 2 | Our ancestors are not the first Spirit People; |
| 3 | The ancestors of our ancestors are not the first; |
| 4 | Even those beings who made the first man and woman, |
| 5 | They are not the first Spirit People. |
| 6 | We call the first Spirit People the people of the Light. |
| 7 | We call the first Spirit People, the Light Beings. |
| 8 | They travel wherever there is light, |
| 9 | They travel with the light of the Moon; |
| 10 | They travel with the light from the Stars; |
| 11 | They travel with the light from the Sun. |
| 12 | From galaxy to galaxy they travel; |
| 13 | From star to star they travel; |
| 14 | From planet to planet they come. |
| 15 | Always looking, always sensing Spirit. |
| 16 | When it is time for the Spirit of a people to grow, |
| 17 | They come and teach us and guide us. |
| 18 | When it is time for the Spirit of a people to be tested, |
| 19 | They come and help us if we sense and see. |
| 20 | The Light Beings are the wisest of Spirits; |
| 21 | The Light Beings are the oldest of spirits of People. |
| 22 | Many, many times ago, the Light People had bodies, |
| 23 | Like our ancestors and men and women today. |
| 24 | Many, many times ago, the Light People were very wise and peaceful, |
| 25 | Yet they wished to know more of the wisdom of the Dreaming; |
| 26 | They wished to overcome the cycle of life and death; |
| 27 | They wanted the knowledge of the Great Spirit of the Universe; |
| 28 | The Light Beings sought a way to be both the Dream and the Dreamer; |
| 29 | They found a way to be within the dream of the universe, |
| 30 | And through the dream as spirit. |
| 31 | That is why they became beings of pure light. |
| 32 | The Illuminators of the Shining Path of Knowledge; |
| 33 | The wisest and most beautiful Spirit People of the Universal Dreaming. |
