| This be the tribulations of Second Ancestors: |
| The awakening of our second ancestors; |
| The awakening of your second ancestors; |
| The second people of country of the land called Australia. |
| The ones the Grey Star People made to replace the first ancestors. |
| The ones the Grey Star People thought they could make without spirit; |
| The ones the Grey Star People brought to the east and south-east country, |
| When they returned to country 4,421 generations ago. |
| The Grey Star People let the second ancestors live on the surface, |
| The Grey let them build stone circles as homes, |
| That they may become attached to property and possessions; |
| That they could be controlled by threatening to take away their home and land. |
| The Greys did not let our second ancestors communicate in groups, |
| The stone circles and homes were far apart. |
| The Greys did not permit our second ancestors to have easy water or food; |
| So stone circles were built far away from streams, |
| Stone circles as homes were built on poor ground. |
| If our second ancestors spoke to one another, they were punished. |
| So our second ancestors became dependent on the Greys for survival; |
| So our second ancestors for a time forgot their spirit; |
| They worshipped the Greys as gods. |
| Our second ancestors worked obediently and silently in the mines; |
| Our second ancestors dug and tended the gardens of the Greys without song. |
| They had become the perfect slaves as the Grey People intended. |
| When the Second Great Season of Ice and Cold came 2,526 generations ago, |
| The Grey Star People decided to abandon their mines. |
| They said to one another, let us not kill these new animals, |
| For we are their gods and without us they shall surely die, |
| Or kill each other. |
| So the Greys abandoned the second ancestors. |
| Many did die and cursed the sky that their gods had abandoned them. |
| Many did kill and eat each other in terrible anarchy. |
| Yet some did find help when the giant first ancestors emerged. |
| At first these second ancestors were fearful of the giants. |
| In a few generations these first and second ancestors united, |
| And became our one common ancestors. |
| Yet the cold and hunger continued. |
| Until the giant people with horns and red skin, |
| Found our common ancestors and awakened them to law. |
| They said they were sent by the Serpent Star People, |
| To help unite all people who did still honor the gift of first spirit, |
| Yet had been scattered by the earth changes and the Greys. |
| These great heroes were our third ancestors; |
| The ones some call the light bringers; |
| They showed our common ancestors new ways to hunt; |
| These sacred visitors showed our common ancestors how to survive. |
| These sacred visitors brought us Second Law. |
