3 | Learning without right action be without purpose; |
4 | Knowledge without right commitment through right ceremony, |
5 | Be without honor. |
6 | A people without the bonds of oath and honor, |
7 | Cannot survive and will become dust. |
8 | A people that honor wisdom of ancestors through right ceremony of initiation, |
9 | Can never be lost. |
10 | Right initiation be proper ceremony of acknowledgment of knowledge; |
11 | Right initiation be sacred oath and commitment by one to their community; |
12 | Right initiation be sacred oath and commitment by one to their skin; |
13 | Right initiation be sacred oath and commitment by one to their people; |
14 | Right initiation be acknowledgment of knowledge; |
15 | Right initiation be the physical sign on body of oath and unbreakable bond; |
16 | Right initiation be recognition of the most ancient wisdom of first law: |
17 | To Live one dies, One dies to Live. |
18 | All entrance to right knowledge be by Right initiation: |
19 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Generations; |
20 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Species; |
21 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Foods; |
22 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Country; |
23 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Days and Seasons; |
24 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Moons and Years; |
25 | Knowledge of Count and Name of Constellations; |
26 | And Knowledge of Count and Name of Law. |
27 | Right Initiation be trial and test through suffering. |
28 | Suffering tests the mind and marks the body. |
29 | The marks on mind and body unite mind to spirit. |
30 | The marks of initiation unite body to mind and spirit. |
31 | Without suffering, there be no unity. |
32 | The mind wanders, the words are hollow. |
33 | Through trial and suffering, the words of law are unbreakable. |
34 | A man or woman be reminded every day of such trials and honor. |
35 | A man or woman may carry a seal or sacred symbol, |
36 | Yet have no authority to do so. |
37 | A man or woman who bears the marks of Right Initiation, |
38 | Cannot be doubted as possessing right authority. |
39 | Look first to the body as proof of right authority; |
40 | Look second to the mind as proof of right knowledge; |
41 | Look third to the actions as proof of right character. |
42 | All entrance to group and community and office be by Right initiation: |
43 | The ceremony of becoming a skin brother or sister; |
44 | The ceremony of matrimony; |
45 | The ceremony of sacred office. |
46 | All initiation be voluntary and willingly; |
47 | All initiation be respected and honored. |
48 | Any law that dishonors such law cannot be law. |
