| Do not be afraid to cry or laugh. |
| Sorrow and laughter are two paths to great knowledge. |
| Do not be afraid of what you think might be lost. |
| Nothing is forgotten. Nothing can be taken. |
| See then through Yapa: |
| The Past, the Present and future possibilities are all one. |
| Dreaming is all around us. |
| We are the custodians of dream; |
| We are responsible for dreaming. |
| All life, all existence is spirit in form. |
| We do not inherit the land from our Ancestors, |
| We are its custodians for our children. |
| The land is not a prize, it is an obligation. |
| The country is not a resource, it is life itself. |
| No one can ever take land. |
| No one can ever take spirit. |
| The sun rises, the wind blows; |
| The grass grows and fades away; |
| The tide comes and goes. |
| Let no one say the past is dead. |
| Dreaming means the past is always with us, |
| Dreaming is around us and within us. |
| If you live on this land and you have ancestors sleeping in this land, |
| Then you are family. You are one of the community. |
| The right way is that everything is created equal and sacred: |
| The right knowledge is that the soil, the clay, the rocks are all sacred; |
| The right spirit is to honor Law, to honor who and what you are. |
| Spirit never abandons the people. |
| It is only the flesh that falls asleep to knowledge of spirit and season. |
| Remember then the promises made; |
| These were not hollow words, but connections between different time and space. |
| They have brought us then to this time and place. |
| Remember then who you are. |
| Remember and honor the law. |
| As the people were scattered and died, |
| Good men and women cried out to spirit for help, |
| And spirit did come. |
| They did not give up hope or honor or respect; |
| Even as family died around them, |
| They continued to honor the law and ancestor spirits; |
| Even as white people and lesser people infected with illness of mind, |
| Did injure the land and destroy customs, |
| Good men and woman did not surrender Law. |
| Redemption then did come from such right intentions, |
| And right actions of the law people of community. |
| Because they remembered the mystery of the great dream of Universe: |
| To Live 1 Dies. 1 Dies to Live; |
| That to learn, one must die to disrespect of Law; |
| To Live, one must die to dishonor of self; |
| To Live as men and women, not animals, |
| One must respect and honor knowledge of ancestors, |
| One must always respect and honor Yapa. |
