Dedication is the action during an official Visitation denoting a formal ceremony and consecration or ritual whereby a formal conveyance of Rights and Title is either granted or surrendered.
The word Dedication comes from Latin dedicatio meaning “to consecrate, make sacred through action or ceremony”.
