It be a mystery and wonder of dreaming,
That all great spirit can still be seen at night:
Every great giant ancestor spirit;
Every great totem and familiar;
Every great song line and story.
Some come at certain times of seasons.
To teach and remind us of the birth and death of species.
Or the cycle of great events of family,
Some come at other times with great signs,
As omen to events yet to come, or warning.
This be a first mystery of the constellations.
It be a mystery and wonder of family,
That all ancestors spirits may appear at night,
The memory and honor of those who have passed;
The memory and reminder that nothing is lost;
A means of conversation with our beloved ancestors;
The mystery that even into the darkest sky;
Upon meditation and concentration,
Even the earliest ancestor will reveal themselves.
This be a second mystery of the constellations.
It be a mystery and wonder of knowledge,
Upon the night sky of great colors;
Of yellow, white, blue, red, pink and green stars;
That the light people still speak to us;
That the people of distant past remind us of our promises;
To be true custodians of the dreaming;
And knowledge of origins of all peoples;
To forgive and unite;
But never forget.
This be a third mystery of the constellations.
It be a mystery and wonder of the constellations,
As witnesses to right ceremony,
As participants in right law,
These mysteries be the seventh path of knowledge,
For all elder ceremonial men and women,
That our connection to the universe is remembered,
And what we do here, vibrates beyond this camp,
That we may travel without moving;
We may know without learning;
We may see without looking.
It is why the ancient ancestors sung:
"(As) Above; (So it is) Below. (As) Below; (So it is) Above"
