1	It be the law from the First Age,
2	To be initiated as a man or women,
3	A boy or girl must know:
4	The count and name of their family,

6	This be the knowledge of themselves;
7	This be the knowledge of respect;
8	This be the first path of knowledge.
9	A boy or girl who disowns family is lost.
10	A boy or girl who disrespects the memory of ancestors,
11	Is alone in spirit and easy prey.
12	A boy or girl who refuses to learn,
13	Is an empty space.
14	To respect family,
15	To count and name family generations,
16	Is the path to all knowledge.
17	From the count and naming of family generations,
18	Comes count and naming of species.
19	From the count and naming of species,
20	Comes the count, naming and preparation of food.
21	From the count and naming of species,
22	And from the count and preparation of food,
23	Comes naming of all country.
24	From the count and naming of all country,
25	Comes name and count of days and seasons.
26	From the count and name of days and seasons,
27	Comes count and name of moons and years.
28	From the count and name of moons and years,
29	Comes count and name of constellations.
30	From the count and name of all knowledge,
31	Comes count and name of Law.
32	This is why first ancestors spoke:
