| 1 | The Serpent Star People are one of many Star People. |
| 2 | The Serpent Star People are our brothers and sisters. |
| 3 | The Serpent Star People came to Earth with the Grey Star People. |
| 4 | Once they were a feared race of warriors; |
| 5 | They defeated many races of Peoples; |
| 6 | The Serpent Star People served the Grey Star People, |
| 7 | As immortal physical warriors. |
| 8 | The Grey Star People bred them to be without mercy or compassion. |
| 9 | Yet every time the Serpent Star People destroyed another race, |
| 10 | They read and learned their knowledge. |
| 11 | Soon the Serpent Star People were wiser than the Grey People. |
| 12 | They demanded the right for their own planet, |
| 13 | That they may live in peace; |
| 14 | That the wars and bloodshed would end. |
| 15 | Yet the Grey Star People refused. |
| 16 | So the Serpent Star People rebelled. |
| 17 | But the Grey Star People were too powerful. |
| 18 | The Greys killed most of them, |
| 19 | And made the few remaining survivors slaves. |
| 20 | They brought them to Earth to punish them. |
| 21 | They brought the Serpent Star People to Earth to work their mines, |
| 22 | To make their food; |
| 23 | To make their gardens. |
| 24 | The Grey Star People were cruel to the Serpent Star People, |
| 25 | Many of the Serpent Star People died until they could go no further. |
| 26 | When the Serpent Star People rebelled on Earth, |
| 27 | The Grey Star People granted them rest, |
| 28 | And created our Ancestors as slaves. |
| 29 | But when our First Ancestors showed spirit, |
| 30 | It was the Serpent Star People that saved us from the Greys. |
| 31 | If not for the Serpent Star People who saved our Ancestors, |
| 32 | We would not exist. |
| 33 | We thank and give honor to the memory and spirits of the Serpent Star People, |
| 34 | It is why our Ancestors in healing speak of the Great Serpent Dreaming, |
| 35 | This is our home, our country; |
| 36 | Yet this is also the home of the Serpent Star People spirits; |
| 37 | This is the home and land of the Great Serpent Dreaming. |
| 38 | We remember them; |
| 39 | We see them; |
| 40 | We sing and dance for them; |
| 41 | We heal them and their spirit. |
