2.8 Termination

Article 77 - Suicide

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one’s own death.

The word suicide comes from the Latin suicidium, from sui caedere meaning “to kill oneself”.

There are five (5) primary forms of Suicide throughout the history of civilization being Selfish-Depressive, Impulsive, Heroic, Honorable and Merciful:

(i) Selfish-Depressive Suicide is a suicide committed by a man or woman is a selfish depressive state, often as a method of maximizing the inflicting of harm on others; and

(ii) Impulsive Suicide, also known as “accidental suicide” is a suicide committed in an abnormal state of mind which may have been brought on by peer pressure, drugs or some other spontaneous event; and

(iii) Heroic Suicide is a suicide committed for a higher purpose such as to save others or achieve victory, often in times of war and conflict; and

(iv) Honorable Suicide is a suicide committed as a matter of choice and law to avoid further pain or anguish to victims, or further disgrace on an office or the name of a family; and

(v) Merciful Suicide is a suicide committed due to an incurable physical condition in order to avoid a prolonged period of extreme pain and suffering.

The Government or leadership of a military unit can never order or force its troops to perform a mission that equates to Heroic Suicide.

The most honorable act an official found guilty of the most serious breaches of their fiduciary duties is to perform an Honorable Suicide. If such honor is demonstrated, all history of their conviction, crimes and acts must be expunged for all time and their memory recognized as most honorable.

The most honorable act a man or womanfound guilty of the most heinous of crimes is to perform an Honorable Suicide. If such honor is demonstrated, all history of their conviction, crimes and acts must be expunged for all time and their memory recognized as most honorable.
